What It Is

A Boundary is a closed polygon that marks a distinct area on the terrain surface. Boundaries define processing zones, property limits, or visual overlays — any region where you need a clear perimeter. They cannot be instanced; each boundary represents a unique area within the project.

Every boundary carries a polygon geometry, an optional description, and full styling controls including fill color, stroke color, and stroke width. Use boundaries to delineate lot lines, crop fields, exclusion zones, or any other area that needs a visible, queryable edge.
