What It Is

A Control Point is a georeferenced survey marker that stores precise latitude, longitude, and height along with accuracy metadata. Control points anchor your designs to real-world coordinates, giving every element on-site context. They cannot be instanced — each control point represents a unique physical location.

Every control point records horizontal and vertical accuracy, survey date, surveyor name, and marker type with configurable size. Place control points within components to georeference assemblies, or use them standalone to build a survey control network that ties your entire project to established datums.
